Introduction
The Agilent Technologies multichannel CDMA per-
sonality, Option UN5, is ideally suited for adjacent-
channel-power (ACP) and code-domain power
measurements for CDMA base-station and mobile
component test for single and multiple carriers.
This personality offers preconfigured settings for
pilot, 9-channel, 32-channel, 64-channel, and
reverse channel. For additional control of CDMA
signals, a channel editor provides the power to
define up to 256 Walsh-coded channels per carrier
with selectable channel type, Walsh code, power,
PN offset, and data. Four IS-95 filters are provided
as well as user-defined FIR filtering. To test CDMA
variants, the chip rate is selectable from 10 chips/
second to 20 megachips/ second. All these capabili-
ties are combined with superior ACP performance
to test high performance active components.
